This beautiful Autumn Apple Pie was featured in the Parade Magazine article, Pies Across America yesterday. Ironically, my Mom called today and asked me to stop by her house to pick up the rest of an apple pie she made yesterday. It's been a long time since I've had my Mom's pie and it was delicious! She said she diced the apples instead of slicing them this time. It made an interesting texture. I'm going to get her recipe and add the leafs.It will definitely be on our Thanksgiving table next week!
